Built in 1934, Trojan House is undeniably art deco, with its geometric form, original nameplate, and off-centred flagpole. As well as strengthening to the current building code, the exterior will be refreshed (think new render, paint job and double-glazed character windows).
The ground floor offers five retail/hospitality opportunities right next to a laneway that we plan to reactivate (just like we did with Hannahs Factory), with Six Soda Barrel Company, and People’s coffee as your neighbours.
Above that, floors 1 - 4 offer a boutique 22 apartment development, with just 5 apartments per floor (4 x 1-bedroom apartments, and 1 x 2-bedroom apartment per floor). The top floor offers two penthouse apartments (a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom) with private outdoor decks and stunning views over Te Aro.
Upon completion the building will be strengthened to a minimum 80% of the New Building Standard (NBS), with 2 new lifts and and a comprehensive security system. Read our detailed information here and then to access pricing and availability, please register your interest.
